Phoenix Cafe opened its doors on Hickman Road with a simple conviction: that a community deserves a place where the coffee is poured with care, the bread is baked with patience, and every visitor is known by name.

What began as a neighborhood bakery has grown alongside Urbandale — expanding our pantry, deepening our craft, and keeping the same warm welcome at the heart of everything we do. We source from local farms, partner with regional producers, and bake in small batches so nothing leaves our kitchen without a standard we'd set for our own table.
